This survival course will take your preparedness to the next step.
We will begin in the classroom, then we'll move to the woods and practice those skills learned under the supervision of our instructors. Heavy emphasis is placed on knife and fire use.
Additionally, this course will give you a foundation in:
- Survival Mindset
- Building your Survival Kit and Kit Critique
- Knot Tying
- Environmental Conditions
- constructing a shelter
- Building a fire
- Food and Water Procurement
- Prioritization of Needs In a Survival Situation
- Packing a Bug-Out Bag
- Austere Medical Considerations
Students should show up with the following equipment:
- Small Fixed-Blade Knife
- Ferro Rod and Lighter
- 50 feet Paracord
- Water Bottle and Metal Cup
- Notebook/Pencil
