Meaning you can run the supplied rechargeable battery (which can recharge with an aftermarket solar charger) or you can use CR123 batteries if the situation dictates. The light is anodized in a beautiful High Visibility Orange. Perfect for the outdoors making it easy to spot when you drop it or set it down.
