A knife is one of the most important tools the modern prepared individual can carry. In this 2 hour seminar, students will learn different locations and methods to carry knives as well as how to handle them to address wilderness living tasks. Students will be guided through the “try stick” carvings and how to transform materials gathered from the land into usable tools. Additionally, students will be shown how to maintain their blades using sharpening and honing products. This seminar will be taught by Fieldcraft Survival Director of Training Kevin Estela.
