This 4-hour course covers cordage from the ground up. It includes how to process fibers into cordage and how to create usable braided lines. Once cordage is created, the course moves to multiple knots, hitches, and rope manipulations for survival shelters, rescue scenarios, and camp structure creation. Students will be shown various ways of managing cordage as well as advanced methods of using common webbing, paracord, and jute twine to become more survival resourceful.
