This one day basic Land Navigation class will teach you the skills needed to navigate in the wilderness with a map and compass. Taught by experienced Special Operations instructors this relaxed pace class will cover, marginal data, terrain features, contours, measuring distance, finding a grid, finding an azimuth, converting an azimuth, and pace count.
No prior experience is needed and kids over 12 are welcome
Required equipment:
Notebook and pen
Class starts at 0900am and finishes at 3pm with a short lunch break
Please bring your own lunch, drinks, and snacks
The class costs $200 per person
