To accomplish our mission, we offer life-saving medical equipment, products built to enhance dependability, as well as training courses led by resident duty experts. Mike Hernandez — CEO
Mike Hernandez is the Chief Executive Officer of Fieldcraft and specializes preparedness, mobility, and off-roading. Michael has been building vehicles for 20+ years, after completion of an ASE Ford program in his teens. Michael combined his automotive knowledge with experienced based learning, in behavioral health. He provides behavioral health services to wards of the state of Arizona and has been a foster parent for the past 14 years.
Michael operated as a Camp Master for A&E History channel and has instructed mobility courses for Fieldcraft Survival for 4 years as well as manages business relations, marketing, and development. Michael has written 4 articles for Be Ready Magazine.
In addition to being a mobility instructor, Michael has also operated as a consultant specializing in off-road vehicle preparedness platforms and specializing in Jeep. His work can be seen in his 2 current Jeep builds, A 2020 Jeep Gladiator, and a 2020 EcoDiesel Jeep Wrangler.
Molly Frederick — COO
Molly is the Chief Operating Officer here at Fieldcraft Survival. Before landing with the Fieldcraft Survival team, she spent over a decade helping build and run creative agencies and served two years as well as a VP of Marketing.
She has a passion for building organizations that make an impact and create meaningful change in people's lives. That's why, alongside her work at Fieldcraft, she runs Hello Ghana, a non-profit that's deeply personal to her. Hello Ghana provides skills training and mentorship to children rescued from trafficking, and those regular trips into the Ghanaian bush over the past ten years have taught and equipped her more about resilience and preparation than any business course ever could.
At the end of the day, being prepared isn't just about having the right equipment—it's about having the right mindset, the right community, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone. That's what drives her role every day at Fieldcraft.
Jon Park — CMO
Jonathan Park is the Chief Marketing Officer at Fieldcraft Survival. Before joining Fieldcraft, he served five years as a South Korean Navy SEAL and later transitioned into the media industry. He built and scaled media brands, directed content for industry-leading companies like Canon and Samsung, and played a key role in growing a dozen YouTube channels to 300,000+. His focus is on producing content that not only reflects the authenticity of Fieldcraft’s mission, but also earns trust — whether it’s through powerful storytelling, training, or strategic brand partnerships.
At Fieldcraft, Jonathan is helping define the next chapter of the brand through content that connects, informs, and inspires.
Matt Vandy — Instructor
Matt served as a full-time law enforcement officer for a municipality in the Denver-Metro region of Colorado for 14 years. He initially began his career in patrol and investigations, and later worked in the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). While in SIU Matt tracked and apprehended fugitive sex offenders, and was later deputized into the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force. Matt was also a member of his department's regional SWAT team, where he served as an Entry Team Leader and Sniper. Matt now serves as a Reserve Deputy teaching as a Colorado P.O.S.T. full-skills firearms instructor for three different agencies, and is an A class competitor in USPSA.
Matt Shay — Instructor
Matt has been a law enforcement officer in Colorado since 2001 and has taught for Fieldcraft Survival since 2021. He has worked several assignments throughout his career to include Patrol, Gangs/Fugitive and is currently in the Training Unit where he is responsible for running the Department’s range program. He has been a member of his department’s SWAT team since 2005 where he serves as a team leader, explosive breacher and sniper. Matt also a Master Firearms Instructor in the state of Colorado. In his off time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and challenging himself mentally and physically.
