2 Day, Long Range Marksmanship Course, 14-15 November 2020, (Laurens, SC)

Fieldcraft Survival

The LRM course is designed to take your shooting skills and push them out to 900+yds and optimize your long range rifle.
This course will focus on marksmanship, ballistics, converting MILS or MOA reticles to BDC, quickly reading wind, alternate firing positions and shooting from cover.

This course will be a 2 day course, please bring your own lunch, snacks, and water.
DAY 1 (Classroom)
Saturday:
-Introduction to Long range shooting
-Long Range Marksmanship Class
-Setting up the Rifle and Dry Fire
-Kestrel Class
-Ballistics 101
-Compensating for environmental effects
-Shooter/Spotter Dialogue
DAY 2 (Range day)
Sunday:
Range/Safety Brief
Zeroing
Field-shoot Known Distance Targets
Team Shooting Competition

Required equipment:
Gas/Bolt Gun-300WM/308/6.5 with bipods
Magnified Optic
1-3 magazines
Eye protection
Ear protection
Rifle Sling *optional 
200 Rounds

Course time: 8am-2pm

Please bring your own drinks and snacks. Swag, kit, and tourniquets will be available for purchase on site, please bring cash/venmo/zelle.

We offer private training after our courses in 30 minute and 1 hour blocks. If you're interested please let us know while time slots are available.

The Sawmill has available rooms for rent if you are interested in lodging. The rooms come well heated and or air conditioned, newly built and comfortable. All rooms have private bathrooms. You have the option to split/share or stay individually in a room. There is a common space with a refrigerator, tables and a stove top.
