Gun Fighter Medicine Course Level-1 14 November 20

Fieldcraft Survival

The Gunfighter Medicine Course is designed to teach the fundamentals of providing life saving medical care at or near the point of wounding in high threat environments. Most tactical medicine education programs target the medical provider attached or assigned to tactical teams rather than non-medical personnel.  The goal is to teach the student how to evaluate, and move the casualty off the "X." This course concentrates on controlling massive bleeding through proper direct/indirect pressure, tourniquet application and wound packing; airway compromise; respiratory issues; and conducting expedited patient assessments.  It will incorporate live fire evolutions during medical scenarios to create a well-rounded training experience.  This course is designed for the intermediate shooters that demonstrate safe and adequate weapon handling skills.
