Becoming a responsible citizen is an important part of living in this great country. With our freedoms come responsibilities.
The Responsible Citizen program is a new statewide program that we are launching which consists of a series of courses designed to cultivate citizens that are prepared and capable as well as building a stronger community.
We will work together alongside our first responders to instruct and guide you. Skills we will cover will include Land Navigation and Lost Proofing, First Aid and CPR, Basic Survival, Trained Observer, and more. The goal is to create a stronger relationship between our first responders and our citizens and together strengthen the community.
This course will give you a basic understanding of Situational awareness in all aspects. We will cover the following topics:
Situational Awareness
Pre-attack Indicators
How to recognize a threat before you become a victim
Hostile Intent/Threat Indicators
Protecting your Family
How to develop a personal presence with assertive awareness
Tools you can use to protect yourself and your loved ones
