This survival course will cover important concepts to address emergency scenarios in a tropical environment. Students will be guided through practical hands-on training to build fires, collect water, build shelter, assemble cordage, use survival tools, and much more. Given the proximity to the coastline, a block of instruction on coastal foraging and hunting/fishing will be covered utilizing specialized handmade tools and techniques. Depending on the materials available, traditional bushcraft and survival techniques will also be presented.

- Water Bottle
- 4" Belt Knife
- Water-Resistant Fire Starter (Ferro rod in a water-resistant case)
- 100' 550 Paracord
- Small Tarp or Poncho
We will conclude with a "Question and Answer Session"
