Cow Elk Hunt | Experience

The Fieldcraft Survival team is beyond excited to offer you this incredible opportunity. On this cow elk hunt you will be guided by 2 seasoned guides. You will be led through a brief hunter preparation, firearm check, gear check, and lay off the land. The hunt will be 3 days and 2 nights. You will stay in a gorgeous hunting lodge and all meals will be provided. This hunt takes place in the breathtaking Uintah mountains.

You will need to be prepared for all weather; you will be glassing, hiking, and, if all goes well, harvesting.

We can assist in the logistics of the animal processed and shipped to your home. The cost of animal processing and shipping is not included.

Gear:

We will connect you with your guides and they will be able to help with any gear and clothing questions. This is a list of suggested items. Plan on bringing everything you would take hunting in the mountains of Utah in the fall. We suggest you come with your rifle zeroed, there will be an opportunity to shoot a few rounds to make sure everything is properly set up for your hunt.

Additional Info:

The companion course to this experience is the Hunter Preparation Weekend that is happening 27-29 September. You do not need to take the hunter prep course to go on the guided hunt. That course is designed to provide a strong foundation of instruction and education for those learning to hunt. 

This is a hunt. You will need to arrive with your hunter safety completed and a Utah hunting license ($40 for Utah residents and $120 for non-residents) and also purchase a state private land cow elk tag ($350 out of state or $55 in state). This can be done through Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. More information regarding the exact tag after purchase of experience.  Animal harvest is not guaranteed.
