Fieldcraft Survival Wilderness First Aid

In the untamed beauty of the wilderness, where nature's challenges can be as unpredictable as they are unforgiving, it's essential to prepare for the unexpected. Our Wilderness First Aid course is your key to unlocking the skills and knowledge needed to survive and thrive in remote and potentially life-threatening environments.

This comprehensive introductory program equips you to navigate the ever-present environmental threats, from hot and cold weather injuries to bites, stings, and altitude-related issues. With a strong emphasis on resourcefulness, you'll discover how to improvise with minimal and unconventional equipment, as supplies are often scarce in the backcountry.

Our dedicated instructors are your guides through extrication skills, teaching you how to transport the injured across challenging terrains and long distances. Whether you're ready to participate in carries and drags actively or prefer to observe and learn, this course is tailored to your comfort level.

Throughout the program, you'll delve into the world of common traumatic injuries and practice patient assessment techniques for worst-case scenarios. You'll master the art of creating evacuation plans, ensuring you're prepared to take swift action should someone require hospital care.

Regardless of your prior experience, whether you're a complete novice or have some prior knowledge, this adventure is open to all. We encourage those with existing skills to refresh and expand their expertise. The ultimate goal of our Wilderness First Aid course is to empower you, ensuring you never feel helpless in life-or-death situations that may arise in the vast, uncharted wilderness.
