Performance Carbine (450 Rounds) | Defense

Performance Carbine is designed to push the shooter to new levels in their shooting progression. This course builds upon skills presented in Defensive Carbine and is step 3 in the Fieldcraft Carbine Series. Students will learn how to utilize this platform effectively during dynamic movement drills, while still being held to the level of accuracy required in a real-world engagement. This fast-paced, drill-intensive course focuses on increasing performance, speed, and accuracy, and is not an entry-level course. Participants must demonstrate proper firearm handling, range safety, and weapon familiarity.

• Linear, lateral, and diagonal movement
• Shooting while moving
• Multiple shot engagements
• Movement to static transition
• Target transitions
• Compressed weapon techniques
• Varied aiming schemes based on proximity to target

Required Gear:

• 450 rounds ammunition
• Carbine
• Weapon site
• Sling
• 3 magazines
• 2 magazine carriers (belt or vest)
• Gloves
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Snacks and water, as we will break for lunch
• Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes appropriate for the weather and environment
