Becoming a responsible citizen is an important part of living in this great country. With our freedoms come responsibilities.
The Responsible Citizen program is a new statewide program that we are launching which consists of a series of courses designed to cultivate citizens that are prepared and capable as well as building a stronger community.
Our instructors will guide you through skills such as:Land Navigation and Lost Proofing, First Aid and CPR, Basic Survival, Trained Observer, and more. The goal is to create a stronger relationship between our first responders and our citizens and together strengthen the community.
This course will give you the foundations in basic wilderness survival. Topics covered will include:
- Survival Mindset
- Building your Survival Kit
- Knot Tying
- Environmental Conditions
- Building a Shelter
- Food and Water Procurement
- And much more!
